Het Nederlandse platform Leave No One Behind van The Spindle , mogelijk gemaakt door Partos, ontwikkelt, deelt en bevordert kennis, innovatieve oplossingen en beleid om een einde te maken aan armoede en uitsluiting in de wereld. Op 14 februari kwam het platform bijeen.
‘In 2015, 193 countries adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals. These goals are the blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. In order to ‘leave no one behind’ it is important that we achieve each goal in 2030. In practice, this means: taking explicit action to end extreme poverty, hold back inequalities and fast-track progress for the furthest behind. For The Spindle, powered by Partos, reason to establish the Dutch Platform Leave No One Behind.’
‘The Dutch Platform Leave No One Behind consists of organizations and actors in the field of development cooperation. They develop, share and promote knowledge, innovative solutions and policies that contribute to ending poverty and exclusion. The Platform (+/- 50 members) meets regularly to discuss several issues related to the topic Leave No One Behind. Meetings are open to everyone interested in this topic.’
