Watson gaat volgend jaar met pensioen. ‘During my time at the European Cultural Foundation, I have experienced Europe and the power of culture in towns, villages and cities across the continent. ECF has inspired me to stay curious, responsive and reflective - to recognize patterns and see connections, and to engage with so many creative thinkers and actors. With a passionate team, we have developed many impactful and innovative projects, and facilitated opportunities for cultural change throughout Europe. Today ECF’s mission to work with civil society across Europe in contributing to open and inclusive communities through culture could not be more urgent. The new director will lead a great team and steer an invaluable European organization into its next decades’, aldus Watson.
